Centre of Hope is a nonprofit organization in El Progreso, Guatemala serving the community through education and public health initiatives.

Centre of Hope, Our School and Namesake

Our school and namesake, Centre of Hope, is a place where students with special needs can receive an education and various therapy opportunities, regardless of their physical, mental, or economic situation. The Centre is also used to house medical and dental clinics, educational seminars on health and nutrition, malnutrition consultations, and more.

The Centre is also a hub for the DIG Community Empowerment Program that helps to provide families in need with access to clean water, solar lights, nutritious plants and trees, and educational opportunities. 

 

Sanctuary of Hope, Our Veterinary Mission

Sanctuary of Hope is how we care for the animals of El Progreso. We provide free medical and surgical care to thousands of stray dogs and cats each year, and promote responsible pet ownership throughout the community.​
